Dave Powers, PT, DPT, MBA
Dave has been a Physical Therapist for more than 30 years. He has graduate degrees in Management and Business and his Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy. He has extensive experience and training in management and leadership, yet has maintained his hands on clinical skills throughout his professional career, completing Kaiser's Advanced Orthopaedic Residency Program. Dave is also certified to do functional capacity evaluations.
Dave is presently the Owner and Chief Executive Officer for Camarillo Aquatics and Rehabilitation Services, LLC in Camarillo California. His clinic provides physical therapy, occupational therapy and speech pathology. His comprehensive rehabilitation programs cover services from pediatrics to geriatrics. He has integrated wellness and fitness programs into his clinic. Dave maintains a home physical therapy practice on the Westside of Los Angeles. He sees patients with mainly orthopaedic and neurological conditions. Dave is also Chief Executive Officer for Ultimate Rehab, LLC that is a health care consulting company specializing in Rehab Management and Practice.
Projects have been done for Acute Care Hospitals, Rehab Hospitals, Skilled Nursing Facilities, Universities, Health clubs, Private Practices, Medical clinics, the State of California, the City of Los Angeles, the City of Monterey...etc. Dave has also consulted on more than 300 legal cases involving rehabilitation. He is a Rehab Advisor for CNA Insurance company out of Chicago, having worked on cases across the country. He has been an investigator for the State of California Licensing Board for the last 15 years.
Dave holds clinical faculty position at Mount St. Mary's College, where he teaches Health Care Administration for the graduate students. He has taught at Loma Linda University, Western University, California State University Northridge, University of Southern California and University of California Los Angeles School of Public Health. Dave has stayed actively involved in the American Physical Therapy Association and the rehab community, holding local, state and national offices.
Caleb Guevara, PT, ATC
Caleb Guevara earned his Masters in Physical Therapy from Andrews University in Dayton, Ohio and his Bachelors of Science in Athletic Training from Westfield State University in Massachusetts. With more than 17 years experience working in sports and orthopedic rehabilitation Caleb puts a great emphasis on seeking the best methodologies and techniques to help his clients get results. Over the course of his career Caleb has treated hundreds of athletes of all levels of competition. Clients included professional baseball players, hockey, NCAA Division Two Men's and Women's Athletic Teams, bodybuilders, boxers, gymnasts, ballet dancers, triathletes, ultra runner and 2012 Ironman World Championship. Caleb served as lead therapist for a "Class A" professional baseball team The Dayton Dragons Cincinnati Reds in Dayton, Ohio. He is also experienced in hand therapy, aquatic rehab and pediatrics. Caleb is trained in Selective Functional Movement Assessment (SFMA) and he is the only Physical Therapist in Ventura and Santa Barbara County certified in Active Release Techniques (ART).
Caleb was born in New York City and raised in a farm in the tropical island of Puerto Rico where his parents still reside. He is fluent in both English and Spanish.
When he is not helping his clients meet their physical goals, Caleb enjoys photography, camping, backpacking, mountain and road cycling, surfing and running around training for his next marathon, triathlon or adventure race. He has completed 9 marathons including the Boston Marathon twice and a full Ironman. His next goal is to complete a 100-mile ultra-marathon next year. Caleb also has a passion for travel, having visited 44 countries in 5 continents and all 50 states except North Dakota.
Sarah Mueller, PT, DPT
Sarah Mueller earned her Doctorate in Physical Therapy from University of South Florida in Tampa, Florida. Sarah has been practicing Physical Therapy for over 3 years, primarily in outpatient orthopedic facilities and also has experience with aquatic therapy, pediatric and lower extremity amputee populations. Sarah is passionate about providing individualized care to her clients to reduce pain and improve function.
Sarah was born and raised in Southeastern Wisconsin where she developed a love for the outdoors. After relocating to Tampa for Physical Therapy school, she and her husband moved to Miami for one year. In 2016, they relocated to Camarillo.
Sarah enjoys hiking, golfing, snow and waterskiing, playing with her energetic Chocolate Lab and she is looking forward to exploring the beauty of California and the Western US.
